sorry un sheath was a typo. ever heard of the viral "ask a ninja" show? Ninja cliches like crazy. He also guest hosted on Attack of the Show and did an interview for the Showbiz Show were he interviewed will farrel and John heder for Blades of Glory.
A movie with references oe showing some ninjas inst a ninja movie. A ninja movie is about ninjas. So batman begins doesn't count IMO or Last samurai.
Movie Pitch 375: What about a band of ronin samurai pirates who go on crazy adventures, and the first mate is a hot female ninja.
because its about Batman, not Ninjas. He is trained in a martial arts how ever they are ninja like, they never said it was ninjitsu. Even then the martial arts was of the secret order he was training with which were shadowy people trained to hide and pull off the falls of empires.
now if it was centered around bruce doing missions of assassination or espianoge for them then I would consider it a ninja movie. However it is about the roots of batman, a super hero who uses gadgets, stealth, and cunning to defeat the bad guys and save new yor- I mean gothom city. Now ninja like people may be presented (for a brief moment in the beginning) however they are not a prominent part of the plot. It began a debate between the student and the teacher on whether or not gothom was worth saving. This would put into prospective of why batman helps save gothom, rather than let crime lords and villains kill each other or let gothom be crushed under its own weight.
You said Batman Begins is all about a guy who is dressed in black, who uses stealth, who uses lots of gadgets and who fights enemies with techniques learned by ninjas. Isn't that a pretty cool description - of a ninja?
I understand what you mean - I merely wanted to show you how close Batman and ninjas are. There are differences of course, but you see that they have much in common.
Pirates are outlaws that lead their lives according to what they want. That's romantic and somewhat wishful thinking that makes them so admirable. Think about lack of hygene(sp), constant fear of death and the fact that there was no honor in your life.
Well, ninjas were originally unhonorable spies but still there were some sort of honor codes for them. Ninjas have to remain hidden - that's the life insurance. So there were no prominent ninjas we all know - just their myth. Of course, a ninja has to fear for his very life - but only during his profession.
If I had to choose, well I could not decide which side to take. Anyhow both are dark professions, assassin and outlaw, and yet Hollywood glamorizes them. Those who prevented us from these criminals are shown as loosers; and we owe them more than we do to those 'heroes'.
What I want to know is when did Americans and Europeans start (and get) jitsu from its jutsu.
I also know how to kill someone with my bare hands without them being able to call out for help and its hard as hell to get out of as well, although not very practical (for self defense etc) its always fun + great for getting people to shit themselves
Also you can get outlaw rogue ninjas just like anything else you will get people who care about nothing but themselves and whatever gold/women they posses.
I'm half ninja although I've had no formal training, I really want to start doing Ninjutsu and I have no excuse as I have two clubs (at least) near me, but I already do other martial arts and can't be assed.
Also one of the key things for me that makes Ninjutsu special is its very flexible, basically any fighting stance or weapon is fine (although you have the traditional style) however if you wanted to learn and add other martial arts that would be fine, so yer learn Druken boxing and then you have an excuse for your ninja to drink
Also to answer the question of which is best... Zombie Ninja Pirate is :>
