Off the top of my head I can come up with the following:
XV-15 older style stealth suit XV-17 lightly armed but fast and/or agile XV-22 Prototype command suit worn by Shadowsun XV-25 new model stealth suit XV-25 (mk 2?) fusion armed XV-25 XV-26 lightly armed but fast and/or agile XV-8 standard crisis suit XV-81 smart missile armed crisis suit XV-84 crisis suit with integrated markerlight and target lock XV-86 space going suit with "ablative integrated interface armor" XV-88 standard broadside XV-88-2 Variant Broadside XV-89 crisis suit with heavier armor limiting jetpack move
Shas'O R'Myr's Unclassified suit
That's 12-14 different suits (depending on whether you count the Fusion 25 or forgeworld's BSs)
If we could add a list like this to the lexicon I think it would be pretty cool, especially if we can include pictures of the suits.
Anyone have anyidea what the heck "ablative integrated interface armor" means?
Also, the new book makes the claim that battlesuits are "piloted more than worn". that's what it says although the whole passage REALLY sounds like the author meant for that to be the other way around.

| ablative integrated interface armor is a truely interesting combination of words.
I really cannot fathom what the author meant by that.
I think I'm insane; does that make me sane or insane?

| That at least makes a measure of sense for a space going suit.
Ablative Armor generally refers to armor that looses integrity as it absorbs damage. Basically the armor starts strong and gets weaker as more of it gets shot off.
That doesn't make sense of a space going suit.
And what does the armor have to do with the interface? Unless the term is meant to refer to the whole thing as a suit of armor that the pilot interfaces????

| Well... 3. point of interaction: the place, situation, or way in which two things or people act together or affect each other, or the point of connection between things
Sounds like Battlesuit and pilot to me.
