Name: Kikka Ta of the Hasserkai Clan Race: Shiktar Age: 12 Tar Kals (35 Standard Terran years) Sex: Male Height: 28 cm Weight: 3 kg Eye Color: Bright Orange Hair Color: Red Skin Color: Varies Profession: Wander Warrior (mercenary) Weapons: (modified) Long Rikka Rifle*, Tzkki Stick** Personal History: When Kikka was born, the Elders saw his great stature and immediately chose him for the proffesion of Hunterwarrior. He excelled in the ways of stealth and mastered the way of the Tzkki Stick. As with all Hunterwarriors once he completed his training he was exhiled for one full Tar Kal (a little less than 3 Terran years) to learn the ways of the wild. Over this time he learned much.
During his wanderings he came across a large, strange structure(a Tau Outpost). He went inside and saw a gigantic creature (a Tau Por'saal on a mission with his teacher). The Tau, eager to please his teacher, grabbed Kikka by his beard and put him in a containment vessel. The teacher sent Kikka to T'au for examination.
However the ship never made it, it was ambushed by Dark Eldar pirates. Kikka escaped unnoticed, using his skills of stealth and chamelionic skin (sp?). He figured out how to launch the escape pod and left. He drifted until found by the Jokaero. Nearly dead, they nursed him back to health and looked upon him like some sort of pet. They modified his Long Rikka Rifle to fire energy shot instead of slugs. They also added a targeter and made it far mor accurate. They increased the power output for his Tzkki Stick and gave it a more reliable powerpack. The Jokaero also gave him a small warp capable ship, modified to his scale.
The Shiktar
The Shiktar are a race of diminutive humanoids with the curious ability to chnge the color of their skin. Their proportions are similar to humans. However their heads are larger (proprtionately) and completely bald save fo their thick beards and bushy eyebrows . The eyebrows and beards are too keep dust out of the Shiktar's eyes, mouth and nose. For this reason Shiktar never shave and even females have beards.
Their facial features are far more exagerated than humans, giving them a cute appearance. Their apearance is quite decieving as they are fearsome warriors, nearly as strong as a human (this is due to the higher than standard gravity of their homeworld and the Shiktar's harsh lifestyle). Because of their chameleonic skin, Shiktar do not wear clothes, as it hinders their stealth.
The culture of the Shiktar revolves around Clans and Elders. The Clans are nomadic, while the Elders are not. The Elders live in the only permanent dwelling on the planet. Their purpose is to choose the proffession of newborn Shiktar. They also authorize matings and namings. The Clans are all the other Shiktar, who roam the plains for food on the backs of Sentar*** packbeasts. They go to The Place of the Elders once a Tar Kal to complete their migratory route.
*A Long Rikka Rifle is an elongated Rikka Rifle used for hunting. A Rikka Rifle is a repeating slug firing weapon. **A Tzkki Stick is a cross between a cattle prod and a spear. The electrical shock is usually enough to stun someone. However, Kikka's has been modified to kill. ***A Sentar is a small pseudocanine with cloven hooves and a tail similar in appearance to a rat. All Orks is equal, but some Orks are more equal dan uvvas.
