One of their light walkers carried a weapon of lethal effect. It fired a form of ultra-high velocity projectile. I saw one of our tanks after having been hit by it. There was a small hole punched in either flank - one the projectile's entry point, the other its exit. The tiny monition had passed through the vehicle with such speed that everything within the hull not welded down had been sucked out through the exit hole. Including the crew. We never identified their bodies, for all that remained of them was a read stain upon the ground, extending some twenty metres from the wreck.

Shas'el Isha Shav'rina means Commander Silence and is rightly named so, she is a master of stealth operations and ALWAYS takes to the field in a XV-15 stealth suit. Shas'el Shav'rina's is currently serving in the T'au Ayr'shi Sha'vra alongside her long time friends Shas'O Kais and Shas'el Kas'yr. Though her two former companions are now occupied with tactical command and control, Shav'rina still upholds the tradition of leading a handpicked team of stealth warriors who swear oaths honour before operations. These legendary soldiers were formerly known as the Ghosts of Tyrea, now they have been renamed Shav'rina's Ghosts.
History
El Shav'rina was born in the Tau sept of Sac'ea, at a young age all firecaste are inducted into a firewarrior squad and Shav'rina joined a squad led by Shas'ui Sac'ea Lusha. In this team she was closest with two other Shas'la, Kais and Kas'yr. The three were inseparable and Ui'Lusha often made jokes that they had been bonded by Talisserra at birth. However, the moment that would forever change her life was during her first Trial by Fire.
Her team was tasked with holding a vital choke point on Dalmas prime against a company of Blood Angels who were ferociously assaulting their headquarters. The battle raged on for 4 terran days and neither Tau or Blood Angels would give way. On the fifth day, the Blood Angels charged amidst volley after volley of plasma fire from Shav'rina's squad. 4 marines made it to the gunline and the squad had been long cut off from the cadre's Armored forces. It looked hopeless for the team, who had already taken heavy losses, until the Cadre commander Shas'O Sac'cea Karras dived from the sky into the melee.
The battle was relentless, firewarrior after firewarrior fell to the Blood angels but the Shas'O was strong he single handedly crushed 3 of the attackers but his jetpack and half his system controls were disabled after a well placed shot from a bolt pistol to the chest. Ui'Lusha leapt in with bonding knife in hand to help his helpless commander but with one mighty stroke, the leading Blood Angel swung and decapitated Ui'Lusha. The Shas'O was at the Blood Angel's mercy. All seemed lost but then Kas'yr threw an EMP grenade at the Blood Angel, disabling his visor and Power Armour controls, Screaming in fury the Angel threw off his helmet and swung his power sword at Kas'yr, cleaving his shoulder plate in two. Shav'rina however, leveled her Pulse Rifle at the Angel and fired; shot after shot pummeled into the power armour until a shot hit the critical leg actuator motor of the Marine allowing Kais to run up, grab the dead Shas'ui's bonding knife, then plunged it into the back of the bewildered Marine's skull killing him instantly. After Dalmas Prime, Kas'yr, Shav'rina and Kais were all heroes of the Tau empire and were all promoted to Shas'ui, thereby earning the right to wear the XV-15 battlesuits.
With their new battlesuits the three went from victory to victory earning many names from the races they faced, the Orks called them the "Black Greyskins" the Cadians called them the "Ghosts", and the Inquisition marked them as Enemy number 2 second only to Abbaddon the Despoiler.
Their defining moment was on Kronus, Shav'rina's team were sent to the Tyrean wastes to scout the Eldar encampment and then report back to Supreme Commander Kais. The team however refused to report back to HQ after their initial objectives were complete and instead went ahead to assassinate the Ork Nob Garzak who was leading a huge horde to reinforce the Ork garrison on Tyrea. Garzak's death caused half the horde to mutiny because they were afraid that they will be the next target for the "Ghost Greyskins" and half the horde promptly retreated.
While this act of disobeying a direct order would have cost Shav'rina and her teams' battlesuits in normal circumstances, their act was praised by Aunel'Shiores and two were promoted to Shas'el and Kais was promoted to Shas'O.
Kais decided to retire after Kronus and Shav'rina and Kas'yr continued to serve for another 2 months before the Ethereal High council of Tau summonsed them to attend a special gathering. At the gathering, it was decreed that the constant attacks on frontier Septs were unacceptable, and a special cobat force, christened T'au Ayr'shi Sha'vra was formed with Kais as the commander. Kas'yr relinquished his XV-15 and replaced it with the new XV-8X to be able to join Kais in frontline action. Shav'rina however refused to trade in her battle suit and has since always led any infiltration the force undertook.
